Introducing a New Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Project W whispers the mystery of Scotland, its ancient culture and the enduring spirit of its land. This design, inspired by the mysterious and linear world of runic symbols; reflects luck, protection, safe journeys, love and many ties that bring us together. The grandeur of Scotland's mountains and hills, symbolized in this linear world, and the stills of the distilleries pay homage to the character of the nation and the place where the heart of Scotch whisky beats.

The crescent symbol is known in Scottish culture - as in many cultures - as a guide that ensures safe journeys and illuminates the way. This symbol, which we encounter in the design, sheds light on the journey of whisky from the still to the glass. Every element of the PROJECT W label design is like a coded message, a story telling of Scotland's history and enduring traditions. With each dram, you sip the hope of strong and lasting relationships and the assurance of good fortune.

The Project W is the essence of Scotland. It is a toast to the past, present and future.

The Project W Mannochmore Tasting Notes

On the nose it is reminiscent of springtime sweetness, gentle as a breeze. It delicately combines malty notes with fresh cut grass, lemon zest, and orange juice. A nostalgic feel of Akide candies; honeyed and exuding warmth. Adding a few drops of water unveils a blooming and flowery sensation, like spring's narcissus and daisies emerging from the grass. On the palate it reveals flavors akin to lemon cheesecake, with spicy undertones of cinnamon and cloves. Its smooth, enduring finish leaves a lingering, sweet, refreshing sensation.

Judges Tasting Notes: " A robust and flavourful example with peaty undertones, hints of cereal, green fruit, and earthiness. A harmonious blend of savoury and sweet notes culminating in a rich, lingering finish."

The Project W Glenturret Ruadh Maor Tasting Notes

Well balanced smokiness and sweetness on the nose. Sweet peat smoke is reminiscent of newly burnt matches. Earthy and cured meat like flavors are accompanied by vanilla, honey, subtle hint of dried figs and liquorice. It has an elegant shyness at first; patience and dilution are rewarded. A couple of drops of water and some time spent in the glass release more diverse aromas and flavours to explore. Mouth watering sweetness continues on the palate with an added pepperiness; eucalyptus and pine needles emerges from the depths. Wonderfully long, warm and spicy finish with multiple layers.
